BOOKS OPEN A WORLD OF DISCOVERY!
When students are engaged in learning and are able to discover links among reading, writing, thinking, and knowledge, they begin to make connections. Making connections is the stepping stone for gaining insights and being able to transfer those insights cross curricular. The library provides opportunities for students to use a wide range of print materials and technology that will encourage exploration and discovery. As students read, write and respond. they are able to make connections between their knowledge and learning, to personal experiences, other texts or media and the world around them.
